The Challenge

BC Catering Skanderborg's master route plan — the structure underpinning all regular deliveries — had drifted out of alignment with how the business actually ran. Growth, customer changes, and seasonal shifts had each moved the plan a little further from reality. Manual adjustments couldn't catch up. The result showed up every week as late deliveries, overtime, and pressure on the dispatch team. Delivery precision sat at around 78%.

The Solution

We worked with BC Catering Skanderborg in two stages. First, Zendera took over daily route optimisation, lifting precision from 78% into the low 90s. Then — and this is where most of the gain came from — they used Zendera to redesign the master plan itself, bringing the structure of all regular deliveries back into alignment with the current reality of the business.

Most TMS platforms optimise daily routes within a fixed master plan. Zendera does both: we keep daily routes optimised, *and* we use the same data to rebuild the master plan when it has drifted.
